"Follow-Along" packets for 2nd through 4th grade are available at our front office. These packets are to help your child follow along with the online lesson and do not need to be returned to the campus.
With the official opening of the schools on November 2nd, our virtual schedules will now change starting Friday, October 30th. LDZ Teachers will now provide more live lessons throughout the day. Recorded lessons will be available to self-paced learners on Google Classroom only until after the lesson has been presented to the on-campus learners. Remote learners will have two options: 1.Log in to live session with the teacher and on-campus students at the time designated below. OR 2. Wait until after the lesson has been presented to the on-campus learners, watch the recording of the lesson, and complete the accompanying activities at their own pace. LIVE LESSONS WILL BE AVAILABLE THE FOLLOWING TIMES:
On-Campus Instruction Begins Nov 2nd. If your child will attend in-person instruction please be mindful of the following: 1. Complete the Parent Commitment Form at https://forms.gle/Rb4hEVnQP7LmKGQX6 2. Remind students to bring their own water bottle to school. 3. Masks are required. 4. Review the safety re-opening plan for entrance and dismissal procedures. 5. Provide your child with personal headphones (preferable with a built-in microphone).
DISCLAIMER: Online virtual instruction will begin, September 8, 2020. Students will NOT need supplies until they return to in-person classes on November 2, 2020. We are sharing the list in the event that parents wish to do early shopping.
Internet Connectivity Survey Parents, please take some time to complete the district internet connectivity survey. You will need to log in to your child's gmail account and complete the 2 question survey. You may use the link below. We will also send the link to your child through their counseling class for easier access. Thank you
Due to recent weather conditions, internet servers in the district are not working properly. School for Monday and Tuesday is canceled. Classes will resume on Wednesday, December 2nd.
***ATTENTION ALL LDZ PARENTS*** Each parent needs to complete this form for each student that is enrolled at LDZ. In order to complete: 1. Make sure you are logged in with your child's school Google account. 2. Answer each question on the google form. 3. Your child will receive an email once the form is submitted. LDZ will be distributing devices to 3rd-grade students on Monday, October 19th from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Third-grade students who already have a school issued device will need to return it before receiving the new one. The devices will be checked out to guardians only. Please be ready to present a form of identification. Please remember to wear your masks. We will also be collecting work packets. Remember to write the student's name on the packet.
